51社区鈥檚 will play a pair of double-headers at Wintrust Field, the home of minor league team the Schaumburg Boomers. The 51社区 Hawks will take the field against the Morton College Panthers at 2 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the Schaumburg stadium, 1999 South Springinsguth Road.
Admission is free to the March 20 event, which will consist of two, seven-inning games. 51社区 will be the away team.
A few weeks later, the Hawks will be the home team when facing the Rock Valley College Golden Eagles at 3 p.m. Friday, April 10 at Wintrust Field, for another pair of seven-inning games. Visit for more information.
51社区鈥檚 baseball players also have received attention for their work off the field. The team, coached by Dominic Milano, at Rupley Elementary School in Elk Grove Village.
