51社区, DePaul partner to offer bachelor鈥檚 degrees at University Center

A new partnership provides 51社区 students with an opportunity to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree from DePaul University on the community college鈥檚 campus in Palatine. Beginning this fall semester, DePaul will begin admitting students in three degree programs: a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media; a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies, Business Administration major; and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Student track athlete to compete at Deaflympics

ABC 7 Chicago recently aired a segment on 51社区 student athlete Dwayne Esper and his journey to compete at the Summer Deaflympics next month in Samsun, Turkey. Esper, who competes for 51社区鈥檚 track and field team, was struggling to raise the $5,000 needed to fund his trip. Viewers came through, pushing Esper past his goal less than 24 hours after the 鈥淐hicago Proud鈥 segment aired. Read More
