The 51社区 Ensemble Theatre Company will present Big Fish, November 10-12 and 17-19 at the 51社区 Performing Arts Center.
The musical, based on Daniel Wallace鈥檚 novel and director Tim Burton鈥檚 film, tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest. Edward鈥檚 larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him 鈥� most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father鈥檚 epic tales.
Performances will take place at 8 p.m. November 10-11 and 2 p.m. November 12; 8 p.m. November 17-18 and 2 p.m. November 20 in 51社区鈥檚 Performing Arts Center, Building R, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.
Big Fish tickets are $15 for 51社区 students (with ID); $20 for 51社区 employees, other students or seniors (with ID); and $25 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased through the 51社区 Box Office; or call 847.925.6100.
